Lockheed Martin India Innovation Growth Program

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

The Lockheed Martin India Innovation Growth Program is a two-year, nation-wide project, created to enhance the growth and development of India's entrepreneurial economy. The Program is wholly funded by Lockheed Martin Corporation, and was developed with the assistance of the IC2 Institute at the University of Texas, and FICCI.

The overall goal of the Program is to accelerate the launch of Indian early-stage technologies into the global marketplace.

The program features a competitive selection process. Selected participants may receive specialized training and funding opportunities. Top selectees will also be eligible to receive professional business development support to assist them in entering global markets.

Step 1:

First Screening

Top 60 innovators are invited to attend a 3-day Commercialization Strategy Workshop at the FICCI campus in Delhi. mPower was one among them.

Step 2:

Second Screening

The top 30 innovations are selected from the group of 60.mPower was one among them.

Step 3:

Lockheed Martin Innovation Competition

The top 30 innovators present their innovations to a panel of judges made of up of renowned technologists and commercialization experts from India and the United States. At the end of the competition, six Gold Medal Innovators, and six Silver Medal Innovators will be named.

mPower Won International Portlet Context

Liferay Inc and Firescope Inc jointly ventured a "Worldwide Portlet Contest" in 2007.

They had various categories for portlets developed.

mPower Labs being one of leading company in portlet developement bagged the award in the top most category-The Enterprise category for its "JOB SCHEDULER" portlet.
